The accommodation is roomy and the cottages are equipped with everything you could need. The owners are lovely to deal with and they keep the natural grounds surrounding the cottages in such beautiful condition. The location is also amazing as it is just a very short stroll up to the main street and other walking trails. Such a peaceful location!

Stayed 3 nights and loved it. Sue is so friendly and relaxed. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. We stayed in the Safari tent, which was very private surrounded by beautiful bush land. Will definitely return

Beautiful setting. Tigar room is nice and spacious, had everything we could need. Woke in the middle of the night to scary noises and it turned out to be possum's, also turned out to be a regular noise throughout the day and night (possum's fighting). Shops it town are over priced and cafe food not the best so would recommend taking all your own food

We arrived late at night and it was like walking into a dreamy little forest. So beautiful in the Spring! Amazing value and customer service. Our puppy absolutely loved it. Perfect if you're wanting to get away from the city and relax.

A nice and quiet place. We stay there for 2 nights with our 2 kids in the safari tent.. If you like nature you will love to sleep in the safari tent. With the heater on, it is warm and cosy during our stay there in winter. Kids from the city will love the experience of sleeping in the tent and doing some outdoor cooking. The kitchen outside the tent is well equipped. The toilets are clean with hot showers. Sue the host is friendly. And there is a friendly dog called Betty.

Stumbled across Black Cockatoo when looking for accommodation, so glad I did! What an amazing piece of heaven, beautiful gardens and so tranquil. We had the garden room and shared the toilet / shower with other guests, something we don't like to do but honestly it was no problem at all. The toilets/shower were immaculate all the time. We had complete privacy and felt so welcome. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

We had a wonderful stay.We booked a tent and a cottage.Kids loved the tent,only limitation is the shared toilets which is fair enough for tents anyways and they were neat and clean.Tent includes a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and dining table,heater and electric blankets for winters,pretty cozy.Cottage was spacious and covered with nature all around.Neat and clean,comfy beds.Fully equipped.Loved our stay.

A beautiful rustic setting. Our cabin was delightful with a good comfortable bed, high quality linen even good thick toilet paper. Wonderful bird life all around and you can walk to the shops in town. We'll be returning.

Had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed the serenity and felt the photos didn't do justice. really enjoyed being in among the trees as most places have huge fire breaks leaving you out in the paddock. place was easy to access and get out from. Thank you!
